Rishi Mahabir
Dr. Mahabir received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 1998. He then received his Osteopathic Medical Degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida in 2003. His Psychiatry residency training was completed at Michigan State University in 2008. He worked full time at Carson Health seeing and treating mental health patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting for 6 years. He was the Medical Director of the Mental Health Department at Carson Health from 2012 to 2014. He now works full time at Lansing Institute of Behavioral Medicine in an outpatient setting treating various mental health conditions. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. He is also appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University.
