Rebecca Weinberg
Rebecca Weinberg, LMSW is a licensed clinical social worker. She received a Bachelor of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Becky joined LIOBM after working with clients in kidney and liver transplant, adoption, traumatic brain injury, and hospice settings.
While she has experience with adult clients of all ages, she specializes in helping people through life transitions, particularly younger adults. Becky strives to create a safe and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. She takes a client-centered approach to therapy, pulling from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness approaches, all with a trauma-informed lens.
In her free time, Becky enjoys watching television, baking, and exploring the neighborhood with her energetic Jack Russell Terrier, Watson.
