Marilyn McLane
Marilyn Mclane, LMSW, ACSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Work and has the Academy of Certified Social Workers credentials through the National Association of Social Workers. She received her Master Degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University in 2001. She has clinical experience as a School Social Worker, working with children from kindergarten through twelfth grade, parents, teachers, and administrators. She has also worked with hospice patients and families as a Medical Social Worker. Marilyn has experience working with individuals who are in a domestic violent relationship. Marilyn’s private practice experience includes working with individuals of all ages, parents, couples, marital issues, and premarital counseling. Her therapy approach is eclectic and client-centered focusing on helping the individual to work through issues; such as depression, anxiety, stress-reduction, grief and loss, relationship challenges, struggles in school, and parenting concerns and challenges. Marilyn goal is to empower the individual to make the necessary changed to improve their feelings of self, relationships, and to find peace and purpose to their life.
