Carolyn Roath
Carolyn holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from Michigan State University. Her heart for those grieving relational loss and trauma has led her to the work she does at LIOBM. As a therapist she seeks to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients know they are free from judgment.
In her work she strives to empower her clients to be self-led, while she gently guides them using the art of asking questions. Carolyn resonates strongly with attachment theory with the core of her approach being strength based. She perceives her role as continually validating clients, helping them process, synthesize and analyze information through active listening.
Outside of the office, Carolyn is passionate about fitness, photography, her faith, gardening and family.
