Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a modality to support mental wellness. Our services include, individuals, couples, family and groups. Aimed to increase the individual’s sense of his/her own competence.
Neuropsychological Evaluation
Neuropsychological testing is an evaluation process of standardized tests of memory, attention, executive, language, visual-spatial, and motor functions are used:
- 1. Clarify diagnose and rule out Central Nervous System Disorders
- 2. Plan treatment and rehabilitation services
- 3. Recommend strategies to compensate for deficits
- 4. Determine functional capacity
The evaluation integrates information from other diagnostic procedures i.e, MRI/CT of the brain. Evaluations are performed by a licensed clinical psychologist with post-doctoral training in neuropsychology.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a form of psychotherapy with more than 40 controlled studies showing its effectiveness (85-90%) for PTSD and other conditions where memory reprocessing is needed to resolve the condition. The combination of EMDR with Trauma Sensitive Yoga is particularly effective getting at different dimensions of the condition untreated by other psychotherapies or psychotropic medications.
